HD-3A is a smart water activity meter for laboratories and production QC. It reads water activity over 0 – 0.980 aw with ±0.015 aw accuracy at 25 °C, and temperature over 0 – 50 °C with ±0.5 °C accuracy. Results appear on a large 128 × 64 dot LCD and can be printed by the built-in micro printer either at the end of the measurement or in real time as the reading stabilises.

Repeatability is ≤ 0.015 aw and the temperature coefficient is ≤ 0.0005/°C, so readings stay consistent across normal room-temperature variation. The instrument is supplied in a portable aluminium case, which protects it during transport between the lab, the warehouse and the production line.
