DT2240E 2-in-1 digital tachometer and stroboscope for contact-free rotational speed measurement.

The DT2240E is a 2-in-1 digital tachometer and stroboscope that measures rotational speed both photoelectrically and stroboscopically. In photoelectric mode it reads 2.5 to 99999 RPM without contact by reflecting light off a strip of reflective tape on the shaft; in stroboscope mode it freezes fast-moving objects with 120 to 20000 FPM flashes, so rotating parts can be inspected as if they were standing still. A 10.00 MHz quartz crystal time base keeps the readings stable, and 12 commonly used strobe values can be pre-stored and recalled with one key. It is compact enough to hold in one hand, which makes speed checks on motors, fans, pumps and production machinery quick and repeatable.

Controls
